During the 26th anniversary of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, WWE created a number of monumental moments with John Cena winning his second Rumble match and The Rock winning his first WWE Championship in over a decade. Although most of the show could be easily predicted, the excitement was still existent in all of the matches throughout the night.

Here, I will analyze each significant segment presented on the show. I will also provide a combination of prediction and wishful thinking about what I hope to see in coming weeks.
