WWE News: Dolph Ziggler Turning Face?

Although Dolph Ziggler is one of the top heels of WWE today, WWE may already be considering turning him into the next top babyface.

According to WrestlingInc.com,

The Wrestling Observer reports that here has been a lot of internal talk about Dolph Ziggler’s future lately.

As noted, officials have discussed breaking Big E Langston away from Ziggler and AJ Lee but it sounds like he might stay with AJ. They are discussing this not because of a possible Langston face turn but because of a Ziggler babyface turn.

Vince McMahon has been changing his mind back and forth on Ziggler as a babyface but it’s more when and not if. A lot of people in the company feel that Ziggler will take off huge as a babyface when the call is made. The fact that Ziggler is already popular in the New York market is said to be influencing Vince’s decision.

Seth’s Take

If Dolph does indeed turn face, I think it would turn out great. He is very much over with the crowd and just like Shawn Michaels in the 90s, Ziggler would be going from a cocky, confident heel to a boyhood dream come true.

Many WWE superstars are turning these days, such as the Miz and Alberto Del Rio, and Ziggler could be next. Although we continue to wait for Randy Orton to turn heel, this may WWE’s way of changing things up like they used to do with the WWE draft. Now that there really isn’t any separation of brand, by changing characters from face to heel and vice versa, the result will also be new feuds and rivalries and changes in characters.

What do you think? Should WWE turn Ziggler face? Why or why not?
