Hulk Hogan is at it again. Nope it’s not another reality show, the Hulkster is busy unleashing his lawyers. His latest victim are doctors who he claims cost him a match with John Cena at WrestleMania.
It is getting harder and harder to keep up with Hogan’s daily lawsuits. The newest lawsuit is a dandy! Hogan is suing the Laser Spine Institute of Florida for $50 million. Hogan claims that the doctors conned him into unnecessary surgeries which cost him his in-ring wrestling career, specifically a big match.
Hogan claims that he was supposed to wrestle John Cena at WrestleMania. The actual Mania is not specific. Hogan claims that due to the number of back surgeries, he is no longer able to wrestle, and thus wasn’t able to cash in on his match to the tune of $50 million. Oh where do I start?
Now it is true that there were plans a few years back for a Cena vs. Hogan WrestleMania match. I remember hearing stories at the time that it was Hogan’s financial demands that prevented the match, but nonetheless it never happened. So yes, the idea for a Hogan vs. Cena match is true. The rest is a little fishy to say the least.
$50 million for a payoff is absurd! I don’t know where he is getting that figure but I don’t recall ever hearing anyone get anything close to that for a WrestleMania match. Maybe the stories about his ridiculous money demands were true if he expected this? I don’t know how he could document him or anyone making $50 million for a WrestleMania match.
The only way I could see him winning this is if he got Vince McMahon to testify on his behalf that he was going to pay Hogan $50 million to wrestle Cena this year at ..read more
