This might not be the most popular idea in the world considering the popularity of Team Hell No, but I truly believe that the team needs to end and Daniel Bryan vs. Kane needs to happen at WrestleMania 29.

Continuing my series of WrestleMania 29 preview pieces, I will explore the history between Daniel Bryan and Kane and what would lead to a huge match between the two at WrestleMania 29.

This saga with Daniel Bryan and Kane has lasted longer than anyone expected it to. During the summer of 2012, these two were entangled in a love storyline that also involved CM Punk and AJ Lee. It seemed as if all three men in this feud were fighting for the love and admiration of AJ instead of for the WWE Championship.

This entire angle took naturally turned Kane into a babyface due to his interactions with AJ. As the angle matured, CM Punk moved on to an apparent heel turn and AJ took the job as Raw general manager at “Raw 1000.” Meanwhile, the hate between Daniel Bryan and Kane continued to fester.

When AJ became general manager, she left Daniel Bryan standing at the alter during their wedding ceremony. This turned Daniel Bryan into an uncontrollable, angry human being. Shortly thereafter, AJ denied Bryan’s request at a WWE Championship match and instead, booked a match at SummerSlam between Daniel Bryan and Kane.
